On Wednesday, March 12, former Sequatchie County High School standout Ella Edgmon’s current college team, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Auburn Tigers.

The game took place at Shirley Clements Mewborn Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at Shirley Clements Mewborn Field against Oklahoma State Cowgirls.
