5 coaches at institution in Moore County earned $30,070 on average in 2022

Moore County’s five coaches earned an average salary of $30,070 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the ninth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Tennessee post-secondary schools during 2022.

Moore County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $28,694 on average in Moore County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $30,987.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
