2021 has 4.2% of Coffee County residents unemployed

Coffee County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,141 people out of the 57,227 living in Coffee County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Coffee County has decreased compared to the 4.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Coffee County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 26,232 people who had a job during that time, 70 were employed in the Armed Forces and 26,162 belonged to the civilian labor force.
