Tennesee Southern's Cody Womble and Cumberlands' (Ky.) Evan St. Claire has been named MSC Baseball Players of the Week, announced conference officials Monday.

MSC Baseball Player of the Week 

Evan St. Claire – Cumberlands (Ky.) - Jr. – OF – Whitehall, N.Y. 

  • St. Claire batted .650 on the week, going 13-20 at the plate. 
  • He led the Patriots with three home runs, two triples, a pair of doubles, and 12 RBIs. 
  • Claire's performances helped the Patriots to a 5-1 week.  
  • This is his first career MSC weekly award. 
MSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week 

Cody Womble – Tennessee Southern – Jr. – OF – Prattville, Ala. 

  • Womble allowed just one unearned run in two games on the week.  
  • His performance against Faulkner saw him go six innings, striking out 11 and allowing just three hits.  
  • In a pair of innings against Shawnee State, he added another strikeout and a single unearned run.  
  • This is Womble's first career weekly honor.
