"For our first competition of the season and dealing with some setbacks, the team performed great! Going into warm-ups, the team seemed confident and ready. We had a few athletes coming back from injuries and sickness so for them to get out on the mat as confident as they were I was super proud. We ended up placing 3rd with an 85.5 due to a deduction in a pyramid. I know my athletes and the feeling they had coming off that mat. Emotions were high and they were devastated but we have come back and put in the work to perfect our mistakes and we are ready for the Patriot Cheer and Dance Open on January 28th!", commented Head Coach Keye Matthews.
