The Coffee County Sheriff's Department would like to recognize a few employees for their accomplishments over the past few months

The Coffee County Sheriff's Department would like to recognize a few employees for their accomplishments over the past few months. 

Director Jonathan Anthony, Blake Simmons, and Kevin Martin with our SIU Division were recognized by the Tennessee Narcotics Officers Association for their investigations in 2022 that resulted in seizures of 220 pounds of marijuana, 5 pounds of methamphetamine, 1000's of Fentanyl pills, and solving 3 overdose deaths. 

Sgt. Daniel Ray was recognized by the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Officer's Association by receiving the J.D. Abston Outstanding Training Officer of the year. Sgt. Ray was also elected by his peers as the Vice President of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Officer's Association. 

Jimmy Hollandsworth and Juan Flores have completed Field Training Officers Schools.  This school was 40 hours long and covered leadership skills, teaching and training techniques, ethics, legal and liabilities, and other aspects of training. 

Deputy Alex Bell and Deputy Cody Koon have completed drug death investigation school. This school was 40 hours and covered the investigation of drug-induced deaths and the investigations of these incidents. 

We would like to congratulate these officers on completing these classes and being recognized by these other entities for their commitment and dedication to our community.
