The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) announced on Monday afternoon that Katie Walker has been selected as the league's Women's Diver of the Week award, as voted on by the head coaches.
The York, S.C. native picked up the gold medal in each of the diving boards as Sewanee defeated Berry in a Saturday dual from the Fowler Center Natatorium.
The sophomore set a new season and personal best results on the one-meter, six and three-meter, six dives on Saturday. On the one-meter, Walker scored 241.65 points. Later, on the high dive, she was judged a 234.75 score.
