Each year, the Leadership Bedford Board gives a scholarship to one graduating senior. The senior must have completed and graduated from the Leadership Bedford youth program. In addition to having completed the youth class, recipients must write an essay in response to a prompt selected by the Leadership Bedford board members. This years prompt was “How has your Leadership Bedford Experience equipped you to become a better leader now and in the future?” All names were removed from essays, and the Leadership Bedford scholarship committee, comprised of several different board members, selected a winner. Yesterday, board member Carol Garrette was pleased to award Annie Arnold with a $1,000 scholarship on behalf of the Leadership Bedford Board at Cascade High School’s Senior Honors day.
