University of the South Women's Tennis Advances in NCAA Tournament

Box Score Atlanta, GA: The University of the South Women's Tennis team opened NCAA Tournament play with a decisive win over Otterbein University 5-0 on Saturday May 14th in Atlanta, GA.

How it Happened:

Sewanee swept the doubles competition, picking up three match wins. The duo of Alice Hall and Brooke Despriet took care of their match 8-3.

Ansley Carpenter and Natalia Nassar continued their undefeated year together by taking care of business 8-1.

Nicole Nowak and Jordan Besh dominated their match, not allowing their opponent a single win, taking it 8-0.

In singles play, the Tigers only needed two matches to seal the deal. Nassar took her match 6-0, 6-1. Emma Caldwell took her match 6-1,6-0 to move Sewanee to the next round.
