University of the South Special commencement service was held in All Saints’ Chapel

062e

A special commencement service was held in All Saints’ Chapel on Friday afternoon for two members of the Sewanee men’s golf team who will be unable to graduate with their classmates this weekend because they’re headed to Florida to compete in the NCAA Division III National Championship. The chancellor, acting vice-chancellor, acting provost, dean of the College, and University chaplains were all on hand to confer diplomas on Michael Olmsted and Zack Russell and to wish them well in the tournament. The service was somewhat abbreviated but included all the Latin necessary to get the job done properly.
