Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Sewanee-The University of the South

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Sewanee-The University of the South, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Tennessee students paid $45,120 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 92 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 411 students received grants or scholarships totaling $10.8 million and 165 students took out student loans totaling more than $856,990.

Including all undergraduates (1,785), 1,486 students used grants or scholarships totaling $35.1 million, and 587 students took out $3.7 million in federal student loans.
