On Tuesday, March 18, former Lincoln County High School standout Will Phillips’ current college team, the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Covenant Scots.
The game took place at Covenant Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Scots this season.
The Stormy Petrels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Hermance Stadium against Centre Colonels.
